Open Gyms:  Boys and Girls


Want to tune-up your skills before the season is here? 
Take advantage of Boys and Girls Lacrosse open gym opportunities.

NOTE:  These are all pre-season OPTIONAL Opportunites  

NOTE:  Open Gyms may be canceled at the last minute due to weather and/or last-minute gym conflicts.  
VLC will do its best to update this website if a cancellation occurs under "Today's Status" and/or to send out an email to 2019 registered players. 

 

Open gym sessions accommodate both new and experienced players.  Participants will be broken up based on skill level.
Players that are new to the sport will work on basic fundamentals, whereas experienced players will work to improve their skills and overall game.

Instructors:  
Youth: Various Verona Youth Lacrosse Coaching Staff
High School: Senior Captain and Varsity Players with coaching certification and various Coaching Staff



What to Bring:
Participants should bring lacrosse stick, full gear/equipment, mouthguard, and water bottle.  Mouthguards are required to participate.

What if you are new to the sport and don't have gear? 
Please contact one of the individuals below to discuss your needs. 
VLC will do its best to try and accomodate newer players who do not yet own gear but want to try the game of lacrosse.


Registration Requirements:
Participants must be registered with the Verona Lacrosse Club.

Returning Players:  Click here to register for the 2019 season and to renew your USL membership.
OR
New to Verona Lacrosse Club:  Click here to create an account and obtain a USL Membership. 

NOTE:  The US Lacrosse fee of $30 for youth players can be applied toward a future 2019 VLC player registration.
